Belated Status Update

I realized that I never mentioned that Andrew learned how to walk...two months ago. Oops. I just figured it would be no big deal since he was months later than any of his friends. But we're still proud of him.
He's also a really good talker. Some of his favorite words right now: What's that?, wow (right after he sneezes), Jesus (at church because he looks at all the pictures in the hall), hi Kimball, baby, and puppy.
Lexi is SO good at taking care of him. We love when she comes over.
We kind of hope they get married. Hopefully the height thing will even out.

Andrew will only sit down to watch TV if there's a puppy on. So, we've been watching a whole lot of Animal Planet. And he really likes bread.

And not wearing pants.

We almost had Andrew completely paci free (except for bedtime; Mommy's not ready for that yet) until he started getting a molar and is in lots of pain. Now it's gone the other way...all paci, all the time. I guess you can't win 'em all.

Pressure...

I've been trying to get a video of Andrew saying his words for about two weeks...I wrote down all the words he can say yesterday, and it's a good number, but he WILL NOT say them on the camera.

This is what we have so far:

Also,

I changed my mind about the privacy issue for my workout blog...Too much work. Also, I want people to be able to use Reader to see when we've updated. So, it's linked below as well as on my sidebar. Please come and visit. And in case you didn't hear the rules, there's only one.

1. No making fun of my white skin, awkward face, and non-photogenic-ness.

Come and visit! iheartmyheart.blogspot.com

Sometimes...

I get in trouble for not updating our blog. I voted Justin should be in charge this week, but not so.
So, here are the happenings of the recent past:

1. Grandpa Flanders passed away on Monday evening. We are very sad and will miss him terribly, but are very happy for him and Grandma Ruby, who finally get to be together again. His funeral will be this Saturday.
2. I called 911 for the first time in my life. I saw a horrible car accident as I was getting in my car after grocery shopping. I ran over to see if the guy closest to me was okay. He was in shock, but luckily, there was a National Guard member who also saw the accident. He totally took control of the situation, which I'm so grateful for. And that I didn't have to give CPR. Even though I am certified, it scares me out of my mind to have to do that.
3. I found out I've been parting my hair on the wrong side for the last 26 years. And I finally got bangs. That don't stick straight out of my head because of my cowlick. (Just looked that up on dictionary.com...I always wondered how to spell that.)

4. My phone, which has been broken for about a month (everyone I talk to sounds like scuba divers) has now been replaced. Hooray!
5. Andrew learned how to say "two," "baby," and "Jesus." We're very pleased. And we're going to work on "one" next.

Cuzco-topia

It's been a while...I don't know what I've been doing. Andrew and Tyler playing cars. I LOVE how Tyler wears hats all the time. I can't get Andrew to keep them on for a second. Or his pants, for that matter.
Justin trying his hand at homemade rolls. Our awesome friend Rachel brought some to dinner the other week, and Justin decided he needed a "trademark" food besides grilled cheese sandwiches. I think he found his calling.
Andrew found his dump truck. And then he couldn't get out.
Andrew and Addie in prison. They played in there for about an hour. It was awesome. Babysitting is so easy when the kiddies just entertain each other.
Besides, I could never turn down a chance to babysit this little cutie.

Uhh...

I've had a few ask me if it was my hot bod in the picture...Sadly, no.
1) I've never been that tan in my life,
2) My belly button isn't that big, and
3) I don't even like people to see me doing a push up...Don't hold your breath waiting for me to post a somewhat nakey picture of myself on the i-net.

But, when you come to my new workout blog, you'll see that I do have huge biceps. :)
