Here's the recipe for the sandwiches...And I must credit my brother Mark for this recipe. He's a great cook and I think he just made this one up...Good job Sparks.
HONEY MUSTARD CHICKEN SANDWICHES
chicken breasts
olive oil
Montreal Chicken seasoning
May use:
bacon
avocado
lettuce
tomato
red onion
Dressing
1 c. mayo (I used fat free, not that it would make a difference after this fatty magee sandwich)
3 T. honey
1 T. mustard
1/4 t. cayenne pepper (I used about 3/4 t. because I like it spicy)
Marinate chicken in olive oil and seasoning for 1 hour (or however long you have). Grill then slice. Mix dressing. Assemble on roll (Kaiser is my favorite, says Mark, and I concur). Top with desired toppings. (Mark says that the bacon and avocado together tend to cancel each other out, but it tastes SO good...You decide what level of happiness you'd like)

3 Obsessions/Collections
Last one, I promise!! Then it's back to normal blogging...which I'm sure you're all anticipating :)
1. Collection: Pacifiers. We're collecting them because we lose like one a day, I swear. Just lost another one at the gym this morning. Dang it. Actually, we lost one on a walk the other day, and then when Justin got home from work, we went out to re-trace our steps. We found it. It had been run over, but I just boiled it and gave it back to the munchkin. He's okay with that.
2. Obsession: Sandwiches. I love a good sandwich.

Three Fears
1. Getting kicked out of yoga class. I keep my eyes open when I'm not supposed to, I giggle when people tip over, and I refuse to say "ahhmmmm" in sync with everyone else. It's too weird. Namaste indeed.

2. Snakes. Seems like a normal fear, but I think I'm a little over the top. I kind of got really scared when we saw a little garner (garden, garter?) snake on the sidewalk in front of the swimming pool the other day.
3. Never finding a good haircut again. I have had some good ones recently, but my hair grows in to all sorts of ugly so fast and I can't find what I like. It's unfortunate.

Three Random Facts
I love (interpret:hate) tags that ask three random facts. I'm running out of random facts...But here they are...
1. I hate the color purple. I'm wearing a purple shirt right now because I know it will get spit up upon and I can change it without feeling bad about changing my clothes. I think this hatred stems from me consciously wearing a really bad purple dress to my oldest brother's wedding. It was disgusting.
2. I just checked my old email address in search of an past professor's email address and found I had 895 unread messages. Wow.
3. I went on a very treacherous zipline when I was five months pregnant. It was super scary,
and felt somewhat like Swiss Family Robinson. We swung past monkeys and the ladders to get up to the top of the zipline were NOT so steady. I'm glad we didn't die.

Three Goals
So, yet another tag has come my way...I've been pondering on how to make it less boring, so I thought I'd break it up a little bit and sporadically complete the tag, minus tagging anyone else...
Three goals I have right now...
1. Make it to Europe. It's been my dream to go since I was about fourteen. I ALMOST made it in 2006, but this guy totally got in my way. Most days I think I made the right choice (love you, honey!!), but it would be lovely to be living here:
2. Be able to bench press my weight. I figure if I lose a few more pounds, I might have a chance. Like if I weighed as much as this little guy.

3. Jump really high. There's this portion of my workout where I practice my "little kid" skills...running as fast as I can, jumping really high, etc. But I don't jump very high. I can't jump very far, either. I know, I measured.

Birthday, Week 2 and the BEST Flag Day ever
We started the day with a flag pancake (which Justin kind of made fun of...with reason)
Next it was on to the ward hike. Super fun, pretty easy, and really beautiful. (Not me, I hadn't showered for...a while).
Then a quick Andrew photo shoot before nap time...
If I make this face, do I look surprised?
Party at the pool with the Puseys and the Wernlis...
Tyler (Andrew's future BFF), Nate, Justin and Andrew
Thanks to Lexi for sharing her toys
Princess Lexi
In between all of that was a man jumping around the parking lot in a bunny suit. Oh, I wish I knew how to get pictures from my cell phone to my computer...I'm sure that would require some connection cord lost long ago. But imagine.

Core Performance - Week 11
If any of you are like me, every once in a while I get extremely motivated to go the gym. I do everything from setting goals, to having my meals planned out. Well, if you are like me, that plan lasts about one week, and then I lose motivation.
Megan is NOT that type of person.
With the help of our neighbors (babysitting Andrew) and a membership to Gold's Gym, Megan is on week 11 of her 12-week schedule. She has completed all of her goals and is looking dang good!
I hope I don't get in trouble for this . . .
When I was at the gym with Megan tonight, she weighed herself on the scale. She weighs less now than she did before she went on her mission. All the baby fat is gone! She clocked in at 120 pounds! She is also bench pressing 105 pounds now.
I'm proud of Megan for working hard and accomplishing her goals.
Next week when she finishes her program, she is rewarding herself with a new pair of running shoes. Right now her top choice is the Nike Pegasus. What do you think? Do you have suggestions of a great pair of running shoes?
I wanted to upload some recent pictures of Megan, but I can't find the camera right now. So, here are a couple of great shots.

Party Like It's 1999
I always wonder...What was I really even DOING in 1999? But I love that song...Total classic.
So, we went to our friends' house on Saturday. This is definitely not the best picture of Justin or me, but Andrew's face is SO cute...And his new "I'm awesome" jammies are also cute.
Dan, Scotty, Justin
And last night, we went to celebrate Dan's birthday (on the left). I love when these boys get together. They're best friends for life and they crack me up. They have a hilarious dynamic. I'm really hoping that Dan can come from L.A. and we can go to Bear Lake this summer to have another reunion. Love it!!
