So, I must make a statement of penitence...
One of my very best friends ever, the Jackster, has an invite only blog, and therefore, in my idiocy (which seems to be surfacing a lot today), forgot to put her blog on my friends and family list. So, here's my belated tribute to Jacki.
Three cool things about Jacki:
1. She is one of the most sincerely nice people I've ever known.
2. She appreciates any animal impressions: ratface, deer, squirrel, and raptor to name a few.
3. I can't say I've peed my pants with too many people. But Jacki is an exception.
All the cute outfits Andrew has? Jacki. Good quotes? Jacki. Reason for visiting Arizona? Jacki.
You're the bomb diggity, Jack. Love you!!

The Definition of Insanity
Einstein said that the definition of insanity is doing something the same way over and over again and expecting a different result...So, that's me trying to put a video on here. Actually, I've tried different ways, but I'm still the same idiot that can't figure it out. So, until then, here's a picture of Andrew. Mostly, the picture is for Katie because he's wearing his Rascal onesie. The picture's not great, but we're doing our best here.

Captivity, Day 6
We're officially bored. And I'm struggling to figure out how to put a video on here. I thought I was doing it right, but after I click the video thing and try to upload it, it keeps going back and saying to add a title, but I already did. Anyone have any suggestions for me?? Lara, Amy?

Nothing Else to Post
Here's another picture of Katie's wedding. It's my favorite of Katie and Ryan. I'm trying to think of something to post about this week, but we haven't done much. Andrew and I have been sick again, so we're just hanging out at home and accomplishing very little. Three more weeks until Hawaii!! Maybe getting away from the winter can cure us.

Katie's Wedding
As many of you know, my little sister got married in December. The long-awaited pictures have arrived, except to Katie. I guess the government is too busy to deliver mail to their employees. Who knows? So, I don't want to spoil it for Katie, but here's a little preview.
Here's an ironic scene. My husband and my ex-boyfriend having a little chit chat. It actually was not bad at all, because Jake has always been good friends with both Katie and me, but I just thought it was funny that the photographer happened to take this particular picture and even convert it into black and white.
Here we are pondering how we can get Andrew to sleep like this all the time.
I'm posting this for Scotty and Andrea. Darling family!!
Surprisingly, this was the HARDEST group to photograph. Seriously, a bunch of jokers.

Extreme Lemon Sugar Cookies
Okay, here's the recipe, but keep in mind that it is copyrighted by Micki Sannar. If you love it like we do, I'll let you know when the cookbook gets published. Not joking, these recipes are incredible.
Ingredients:
2/3 c. pure olive oil
1 c. granulated sugar
1 large egg
2 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 tbl. lemon zest (one large lemon)
2 tbl. fresh lemon juice (you can get that from the same lemon)
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. additional sugar for rolling.
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat cookie sheets with olive oil cooking spray. In mixer bowl add olive oil, sugar, egg, vanilla, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls or by small size cookie scoop into sugar and roll until well coated. Place on prepared cookie sheets. Bake 8 minutes, cool on wire racks, dust with powdered sugar.
Enjoy!!

Tagged?
1. When Justin is gone at work, I wear a sweater around the house. It's not just any sweater. It is my Grandpa Peterson's sweater that my dad kept in his closet but never wore. I inherited it in eighth grade and since then have sporadically worn it. Now, I wear it every day, but carefully place it in its spot in our closet about thirty minutes before Justin comes home. It's really not very flattering on me, but I love it.
2. My elbows are crooked. When I straighten my arms, they look slightly deformed because...well, I don't actually know why or how to explain it, but they're just crooked.

Finally!!
I got a haircut. I don't even need to post before pictures because I've had the same haircut for ten years. No joke. Don't mind my head looking abnormally large.
By the way, Andrew is a sport. He likes me so much that he doesn't want to sit by himself anymore. He makes me feel loved. And he has a really cute back of the head.

Finally...Success!!
P.S. I'm going to stop blogging about dumb things. I'm clearly a very exciting person.

Aunt Katie's Package
Katie also has a knack for finding funny onesies. Notice there's already a stain...That's my fault. I made delicious tacos for dinner, but Andrew wanted to eat at the same time as dinner. Multitasking is really not working so well these days.

Andrew's Blessing
Andrew was blessed yesterday on the snowy birthday of his cousin, Lauren. As usual, I was less than responsible at taking pictures of the event, so this is all we've got. I guess it's okay, since Andrew didn't have a blessing outfit. We'll just take a picture another day in a white blanket. He'll never know. :)
Cole and Allie playing with Uncle Justin's Legos. The Legos are what make Justin so popular. That and his good dance moves.
Andrew and his Uncle Scotty. Andrew is borrowing Scotty's middle name and wants to be a cowboy just like Scott. He's even bow-legged like Scotty.
Lauren the birthday girl with her cute red shoes.
