I love...

...this one...
...and these ones...

We had a fun weekend of entertaining and making mass quantities of homemade donuts and cider. Particularly, we enjoyed entertaining this group of rapscallions (missionaries I taught at the MTC). I wish this picture did justice to the total guapo-ness of this group. Thanks for coming, Distrito Cincuenta A!!

Family Photos...

Here's a little taste...But we can't reveal all or else there will be no Christmas card. Andee, you're a rockstar. We love them.

The "I'm not touching these dirty pumpkins" look

Love this..."Mom, what are you talking about?"

And his look of, "You are a bunch of psychos"

Sleep/Study Evasion

I thought that since Andrew's got a little cold we'd stay home today and be super productive. Translation: A whole lotta nothin' goin' on in our house today. Andrew has boycotted naps the last two days, which means I'm not studying as much as I'd like. So instead, we...

Played at the activity table with pants on. Long pants.Played at the activity table with pants off. No pants.Built a fort. It was a total hit. Who knew a 10 month old would be so into it? I actually built it for myself. Andrew totally stole it.Invited Lexi to play in said fort.

Got dressed in jammies, got really tired, but did NOT go to sleep...

Running out of material...

*Studying for my exam is totally cramping my blogging creativity. All I can think about is which muscle is connected to which tendon...

*I LOVE people who will randomly join conversations at the gym. Well, hello, stranger.

*I'm not sure what it is about the hot pink/chocolate brown combo that I love so much, but I love it. Double love it.

*I'm for Proposition 8.

*How do you find a pair of jeans that fits?? I swear, it's been years (and probably pre-puberty) since I've found pants I like.

*I feel left out because I'm not on Facebook. But I don't want to do it. I don't need something else to connect me to the computer.

When Mom's not looking...

I've been trying to spend Andrew's nap times studying for my personal trainer certification exam, but it's been hard to cram into the short nap time available. I must say that this past week I've been guilty of just letting Andrew play in the same room as me while I study. This is what he's really doing. Note the "I just got caught" look on his face.

Playing with the weight equipment/workout apparatuses
Restrained in the walker Watching the snow (Andrew doesn't have guilty "I caught you" face, just a happy one)

The Sister

Wee playing the Wii with Wy Wy

I had some complaints about not putting any pix of Kates on my last post. Believe me, I was doing her a favor...the only picture I had on my camera was her doing some weird dinosaur face. I didn't want to scare the kiddies. Plus, she had to work more than she'd planned because of the bailout fiasco...totally cutting into our picture time. But, here you go. Thanks Kates and Ry Ry for hosting us in all of our craziness. Please move closer. Or we'll move closer. Something must be done about this.

Virginia is for Lovers...And Me.

Since I didn't want to stay home alone while Justin was in Dallas on business, I decided to head to D.C. to visit the sister. Gratefully my mama came with me so I didn't have to manage Andrew Monster on the plane by myself. Here are the results of the trip...Andrew and Jackson (Marc and Kayleen's munchkin) played so well together. Especially Barrel O' Monkeys. Andrew got barrel, Jackson got monkeys.Andrew and I enjoying the fine weather. My mom illegally eating berries at Mount Vernon, George's home. I love Mount Vernon, BTW.Andrew looking fly while listening to Nanna's piano playing. Not sure what you're supposed to do at the Library of Congress, but Andrew and Jackson loved crawling around on the floor. The new Pentagon Memorial. Amazing, sobering, reverent. Molly and I. Why do my best friends have to live in D.C.??KK, Jackson, Andrew and I. These two are destined to be roommates. They're kindred souls.

The Capitol as it stood right after the bailout. Exciting.
